The Falmouth Mask Making Team is working to provide face masks to those in the community who need them. These homemade masks are not medical grade, but can offer some protection. The Town of Falmouth and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts require that masks be worn in public places to reduce the risk of transmission. The masks can be washed after each use.
Masks are available with elastic ear loops, with elastic that goes around the head (particularly suitable for those with hearing aids), and with ties. We also have larger size masks for people with beards. Please let us know if you have any special requests, including for masks that fit a smaller-than-average or a larger-than-average adult head.
Please read the CDC’s one-page facesheet on wearing and caring for face masks: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/downloads/cloth-face-coverings-information.pdf
Please let us know if you or a member of your community is in need of a mask. PLEASE NOTE: If you have any trouble filling out or submitting the form below, please email your request directly to firstname.lastname@example.org.
